Walkers arrive at Northeast Middle School after the 2009 Northeast
"We Love Our Presidents" Presidents Day Walk.

Northeast has always had a special connection to Presidents’ Day because of the many streets
named after our presidents. The celebration kicks off at the Firefighters Hall & Museum,
664 - 22nd Ave. NE. There will be a short stop at Windom Park. Then the walk ends at
Northeast Middle School, 2955 Hayes NE, for fun activities, a chili lunch, some Northeast
history, and a short program. A free shuttle will bring walkers back to the Firefighters Museum

101, Minneapolis, MN 55413. One winner from each age group (0-6, 7-12, 13 and older), entries
