Computer help for seniors

Columbia Heights Library, 820 40th Ave. NE, will host "Senior Surf" events Wednesdays, April 2 and May 7, 9:30-11:30 a.m. Learn computer basics, how to navigate and search the Internet and how to access websites of interest to seniors. Get hands-on computer experience with help from representatives of the Senior LinkAge Line. To register, call Barb at 763-706-3690. Presented in collaboration with the Minnesota Board on Aging and Metropolitan Area Agency on Aging.

The Central Avenue Closure Committee will hold meetings for business owners and residents on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays, 7 p.m., at Diamonds Coffee Shoppe, 16th and Central. There will also be a community meeting with CPED and MNDOT about the Central Avenue closure Wednesday, March 19, 2 p.m. at Nimbus Theatre, 16th and Central, across from Diamonds Coffee Shoppe. What’s new at the Mpls Photo Center

Mpls Photo Center, 2400 N. 2nd St., has two new exhibits opening March 14 and running through April 27. "The Visual Narrative" is the result of a Call for Entry, juried by Susan Burnstine. "Absence of Being" features work by Susan Burnstine.
