NEBA will have its Beer Mile, Sunday, June 28, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. The event is an officially timed, one-mile run, beginning in the Surdyk’s parking lot, 303 Hennepin Ave. E., in which the participants drink beer at designated points throughout the race.

Johnstock 2015 will be held Friday, May 29, 8-10 p.m. (Movie Night), and Saturday, May 30, 11 a.m.-4 p.m. in the Johnson Street Merchants parking lot between 28th and 29th on Johnson St. NE. The event will feature Friday Night Movie Night showing "The Lego Movie" at dusk with treats, popcorn and refreshments. Bring your blankets and lawn chairs. On Saturday the event will feature art, music, and kids activities. Several vendors will be selling their arts and crafts. The bouncy house will return.
